The CEO of Fortegra wanted a way to communicate the yearly goals and general status of the company as well as bringing the company closer together with personal experiences from associates so the concept of the “Base Camp” podcast was thought up. Playing off of the mountain concept of the logo, a base camp is a place where mountaineers meet to plan the route ahead as well as share stories of their adventures. After a few successful releases, the suite of content is award winning for “Best Internal Corporate Communications Campaign” from the IMCA. This shows a bit of the episode that showcases women discussing work-life balance while raising children as well as the internal comms promoting it.
